The Oklahoma City Chapter
It is time to renew your membership or join the Association of Women Geoscientists; The Oklahoma City Chapter. The AWG OKC Chapter was created in 2013 with a mission to:
Encourage the participation of women in geoscience,
Exchange educational, technical and professional information, and
Enhance the professional growth and advancement of women in the geosciences
Our members meet once a month for a fun/educational event. AWG OKC is also involved in volunteering with the Girl Scouts and we will be doing more of that this year.
To sign up/renew your membership, please go to http://www.awg.org. Click on Membership, and then join online. Once you have created your account, go to the online store and membership. Don’t forget to choose the OKC Chapter when asked for a chapter.
Once you sign up/renew your membership, please send us an email at [email protected] so we can add you to our contact list.
Many companies pay the membership to their employees so check with your company first.
