Core Laboratories Reservoir Fluids: Introduction to Reservoir Fluid Sampling and Analysis for Earth Scientists

An introductory overview of reservoir fluid analysis and wellsite sampling procedures. Topics covered include a basic introduction to PVT testing, sampling procedures, phase behavior, chemistry concerns and concluding with the blueprint to a successful fluids program. Also includes special handling techniques and reporting formats. Will cover both unconventional or conventional reservoirs with emphasis of rocks and fluids behavior.  

Toddy Guidry, Core Laboratories

Toddy is Sr. Technical Advisor for Core Labs and their North American SME for Reservoir Fluids, based in Lafayette La. He oversees technical sales, support and corporate business development east of Texas. Toddy has a MS in Mathematics from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, and has been involved in the industry for over 40 years.
